I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has over 10 years of experience within the mental health field. I have worked in various levels of care providing treatment in the Inpatient, Residential, and Outpatient settings. I am passionate about helping others become autonomous and lead fulfilling lives.

I am a Louisiana native and have been interested in mental health at a very young age.

I obtained my Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology (double major) from Houston Baptist University and Masters degree in Counseling from University of Houston- Clear Lake.

I specialize in Individual, Couples and Family Therapy and have experience working with the adolescent, adult and geriatric population. Most specifically, I have worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, Trauma, end of life issues, crisis, domestic violence and abuse, employee assisted program, women’s health issues, family systems issues, couples’ counseling and many more. I am also trained in working with clients of diverse populations.

I use a variety of research-based treatment modalities designed to help each client’s specific need. Theories of choice are Person-centered, CBT and solution focused.

I am passionate about raising mental health awareness, while also reducing negative stigmas.
